I have a 106 pertol single point fuel enjection peugeot when cold it runs
quite well ticks over a bit slow as it warms up the tickover increases and
when fully warm the engine races and it can be difficult to pull off as the
engine dies as you accelorate thgen picks up again. it has had a new
throttle sensor plugs and leads new exhast battery

any one got any ideas where to look next ?
Or dose any one want to buy it

    Hi Enggy
    check the engine harness,,,,,
at the back of the engine where the harness plugs in to the main wiring
    loom,
I have had one or two that look good ,but when pulled apart the terminals
    fall to bits,
    worth a try,

You may well have a sticking idle control valve. This can be cleaned with
carb cleaner ( dry thoroughly before restarting engine). After cleaning you
might need to reset the ECU (power down for a few minutes) and then allow
the ECU to learn it's new setting by tickover for a few minutes followed by
a steady drive around the block for 10 minutes.

    Good Luck
