    Hello people,
its been a while since my last visit,
any suggestions why the electric cooling fans on my 405
    won't switch off, , , , I had to pull the fuse,
it all started when the coolant light came on, the coolant level was
    correct, (with a cold engine),
started the engine, coolant light went out after 5 mins, switched off the
engine before it was warm, cooling fans came on and stayed on ,,
    any help appreciated

  4. I'd check the switches on the radiator (assuming it is like earlier
405s, IIRC the thermostatic switch for the fans and the coolant level
are both on the radiator - there could be a problem with these or a loom
    fault around there).

Try disconnecting the Bitron unit for a few minutes, although when
that goes wrong it usually means the fans don't work at all. But you
never know! If you disconnect it with the fans running, they should
stop. Then reconnect and hopefully they will stay stopped. It's
located under the N/S headlight, not easy to get to, and you may need
    to remove the light unit.
Otherwise as Matt said, check the relays, and senders on the fuel
    filter base.

This sounds like my problem. Where are the relays? If I stand in front of
the car, there are three round connectors (?) on the right (N/S) a few
inches behind the headlight. Are these the things?
