1999 2l gtx peugeot 406 (ticking)

    Hi can anyone help advise/cure intermittant tick from under bonnet front
    left (at water filler) the little barrell with a hose from top and bottom.
    what is it? it has a little pulse/tick at times!!!! very annoying!! thanks.
