2003 Peugeot 307 glx 16v automatic h/b petrol wont spark up

    Hello everyone. The following has my mechanic foxed would really appreciate your advice.
    2003 Peugeot 307 glx 16v automatic h/b petrol wont spark up.
    Failed to start 10 days ago during the cold snap when temperature below zero.
    I charged battery, no start. Recovery service arrived; tested fuses wires underneath bonnet OK, battery OK. Transported car to garage where it has been since last Wednesday.
    Mechanic checked tank for petrol, find it was ram-jammed to the top, dash showed it 1/3 full. Removed and replaced fuel pump and sender. Engine did not fire up.
    He then went to the ECU and is pursuing that avenue.
    What do you think?
