2007 Partner Escapade sliding rear doors not opening

Hi, my first post....Hi, Last month, the rear offside passenger door would not open,..now this week, the rear nearside passenger won't open either, the outside handles are 'floppy, and the inside handel feels like normal in asmuch that you can feel the mechanism working, but the doors wont budge ! The solenoids are working and a healthy 'clunk' can be heard and felt, I Have turned the child locks (accessible from the drivers door pillar) with no effect,.. It seems like one of the linkeages has dropped off the inside mechanism ...All the other doors are working ok. Cant take the door panel off as it needs the door to be opened !

Any body had similar problems ?
