    Hello peeps

I have a Peugeot 205 GTI 1.6 which has done about 80,000 miles. It is
a lovely drive, but i’m finding it very hard to start in the morning,
or when it has been left for a few hours. After about 5,6 or 7
attempts, it generally starts, and it does not matter how I use the
accelerator, it doesnt seem to make a difference.

Thing is, im worrying about the damage I’m doing to the car, and
really want to get the car going sooner than what it is.

If anyone out there has any idea what a common problem may be with
this, then it would be great to hear from you.

    Cheers team.
    Joe

Has anything in the ignition system been renewed recently? New
plugs/leads/dizzy cap/rotor arm may be a good place to start if they are
    quite old.

most common problem on these was the connection onto the temp sensor
when it fell off the ecu assumed minus 40 degrees as the temp and overfueled
does it smell like this is happening?
either way check the connector is secure and ok
