    Hi all,

New member, hoping you can help.
I've read here and on other forums, but still unclear on next steps and the issue persists.

We have a 2006 206 that we use rarely.
The battery dies if the car is unused for more than a couple of weeks.

When in regular use, it'll start on first turn.
A little while ago, the central locking stopped working.
When I lock the driver or passenger door with the key, the respective door latch lifts, but nothing else. Same happens if I'm sat in the car and lift the latch manually.
When locking outside or inside, I can hear what sounds like a relay (BCM?) click and all over the car the actuators appear to make a noise.

Unlock on the fob flashes the lights, no noises
Lock on the fob makes the actuators clunck, and lights flash.

I've trickle charged the car to make sure the battery is in good order but get the same result.
I've checked the driver door latch control and it has 12v on it. The fuse isn't blown either/ obviously.
I've disconnected the battery and done the reset steps (3-minute wait, reconnect, headlights on via open window etc.)

What's the next step? I think I read this could be a BCM issue - can they be swapped out, or do they need re-coding by a Peugeot dealer/ specialist?

    Thanks in advance.

Sounds like the unlock relay on the BSI has failed.
Its soldered into the board , but if your handy with a soldering iron its not too big a job to do.
Done a few on xsara picassos.

    Thanks!
I figured the same. Sold the car in the end, with the issue noted in the ad and to the seller. They were happy despite this!

    Thankyou for your reply.
