I have a 4 year old 206diesel 1.9 that has developed a flat spot whereby
    when travelling at 10 / 20 / 30/40/50 mph in 1st /2nd gears etc, the car
    faulters
and keeps faultering until i either release the throttle or accelerate
harder thru the juddering, also on starting from cold, the engine will
hunt as though running out of diesel.
this problem started some while back, any suggestions other than a
    £100.00
per hour diagnosis offered the local peugot dealer?????

This can only really be a fueling issue, as it's a diesel.
My guess would be something electrical, possibly ECU related, don't the
206's have a bad rep for ECU problems?
Or it could be a fuel pump thing.

  3. Hi usually its a e.g.r. problem .To make sure it is disconnect the vacuum
pipe to the e.g.r. / l4 emission butterfly and road test .If it is you can
adjust the load switch on top of the pump slightly .If this proves negative
    replace the L4 butterfly assembly.
