206cc headlight adjustment RHD to LHD?

I notice that on the 206cc the headlight lenses are clear and have no
scoring which you can cover with black tape to block the dipped beam going
too high up on the left for driving abroad. I understand the French police
sometimes blockade and fine drivers if the headlights aren't blocked, no GB
sticker, no spare bulbs, that sort of thing.

I'll probably line it up against a wall in the dark and make sure it blocks
out the high level dipped light, but is there an elegant solution, it is a
    French design, after all ;)

    Cheers,
    Dave

If it's anything like the 407 and 307, then you have to buy the headlight
protectors from Peugeot, these are marked to indicate where to apply the
black 'sticker' that is included. The purchase price includes fitting from
    the Peugeot dealer.
My 407 protectors just clip on, but the 307 are a pig to fit, no idea about
the 206 though. Don't forget your warning triangle either.

would call it) - you have to wear them if you are leaving the car after
    an accident etc.

Ahh yes that sounds like a runner.
Got one of those, and the hi-viz apparel too ;)

I'll check out the protectors, thanks.

Ahh yes, something I always carry ;) I guess not having stickies on your
headlights is an easier nick to spot for an occifer of the law standing at
the side of the Calais roads!

Halfords do a set of stick-ons. Contained with them is a diagram for
fixing to cars with clear headlights, the 206 included.
