306 Accelerator

    Very quick and general car-related question - the accelerator on my 1998 306
    has become very stiff and is not smooth to depress. Can anybody tell me what
    the cause of this is likely to be, and the ease/cost of repair because i'm
    currently selling it and need to work it into the price.

    My 206 was like that when I got it, just took a couple of goes with some
    WD-40 down the accelerator cable and its fine now.
