306 block and head rotting........

    have you all ever heard of this happening? I'm assumiming this is
    directly affected by the coolant in use, so my other question is what
    type of coolant is safe for these engines? (1.8 alloy block and head)

    Avoid plain water. Use the correct ratio of antifreeze which is recommended
    for alloy engines
