    hi guy

i think my 306 may have a faulty injector due to an heavy miss fire when on idle. i can get my hands on a spare set of injectors that are out of an K reg 405 GLDT. my car is a M reg 306 D Turbo. can any of you techs out there give me some advice on this

there is a couple of things that have crossed my mind, do i have to take into account the different pumps that are fitted, i beleve them to be either bosch or lucas? can different pumps be matched with different engines? also did peugeot ever fit the same D Turbo engine in the 306 and 405? any help would be much appreciated as my MOT is due at the weekend

    thanks for your help, ja

Do you live in the u.k? if so what part.as there is a place in Wimbledon
that can do your injectors.they are very very helpful.so give them a
ring on 02088793584 02088793861 and they are called watson
diesels.they did my pump and i am very happy with the service i got from
    them.
    good luck from chris

  3. Hi Jay,

Yes, peugeot put the same engine in the 405 and the 306, and the
injectors are exactly the same in both.
IIRC, pretty much all the XUD9T (1.9 Turbo D) engines had the bosch
pump, so you should be o.k. I think all had the same injectors in any case.

    Good luck!

check the numbers on the injectors, some 1.9 turbos had Lucas cav pumps and
the injectors are different the opening pressures are different but the name
is clearly marked on the body of the injectors
