306 missing light

    Hi all

    [1998 Peugeot 306 DT LX]

    Can anyone please tell me the exact type and wattage of the luggage
    compartment light in a 306, as the previous owner has removed it (for
    whatever genius reason)?

    There's nothing in the Haynes or 306 manual, or even on the light unit
    itself regarding the specification!

    Please help.

    Can't recall the number of the bulb, but it's called "large capless"
    and is the same as fitted to the number plate light or the side
    repeaters.

    Went in a well known high-street car chain at lunch today and they were...
