    hello
i think that i have driven about 1/2 mile to a mile with no fan belt.last
    saturday.
    replaced with new belt today
charged up battery which was flat.
    car started as normal.

    problem is that
when i open the door to get in or out,the headlights and dashboard lights
flash on and off for about 15 seconds
there is also a clicking sound like when hazard lights are on.

anybody have suggestion as to what might be the cause ?
    thanks

i dont know if this is important but it has a standard factory fitted
    peugeot keypad immobiliser.
coolant level is on about minimum.

Sounds like you need to re-set your alarm, using the key plip thingy, the
battery re armed the alarm system when it was charged and connected back to
    the car,

Don't buy the cheap type battery,, they don't last long,,
The dealer battery is about £5 and will last for about 3 years
