my friends 306 with a 1.8 8valve xu engine started suirting oil from the filler cap. this mainly happens when increasing revs after sitting at idle for a while.i removed the filler cap withengine running and after about a minute there was a stream of oil about 4 inches high which appeared to be coming from the oil return hole in the cam carrier above no1 pistons valves.the head appears to be filling with oil up to the filler neck but drops instantly when engine is switched off.i suspect head gasket but thought i would see if anyone had any other ideas or agreed.any help much appreciated
