307 low fuel warning

    2002 307 1.6 Rapier (petrol)

    The low fuel warning came on the other day, and the 307 managed about 300
    yards before expiring.

    Now this is strange. Not in the habit of letting the fuel get so low, but it
    has happened once or twice over the years, and the 30 miles it suggests you
    can go in the handbook has been realistic.

    Do you think the sensor is faulty now, or what? I guess it can't be trusted
    any more.
