307sw rear window shattering

Discussion in 'Peugeot 307' started by kirsten.stroud, Jan 13, 2004.

  1. I have recently been told that the rear window in 307sw's could shatter for
no reason, and without warning, due to pins not being fitted to absorb
vibrations. Has anyone else heard about this, if so is there any more info
    on it?

I have a 106, it might apply to your post im not sure but it happened to me for no reason, was parked up with no-one around and the rear window just shattered, i asked the autoglass fitter about it but he didnt seem to know, could be a problem with peugeot in general???

I know my brother-in-law's Saxo's rear window went when he shut the boot one
day. When the autoglass fitter came, he said it was probably a loose wiper
motor, and it was. If the motor comes loose, it can cause the window to
break as the wiper goes through the glass,

  4. Hello!
Yes, I heard, it is a problem for both SW models 206 and 307. My friend lost
rear window without any reason in his 206 SW.
