406 engine

    i was reving my 406 2000 to clear my ecxust when i try to slow the engine
    down no responce i try to switch the ignition off stil didnot stop it did
    eventualy the engine is running ok any help

    I have had this problem in the past when the throttle pedal sticks under the
    drivers rubber mat.
