406 hdi holding back when accelerating slowly

    Hi all, can you help got a 1999 2.0 hdi 406 diesel which runs fine except
    when you set off slowly and dont give it too much gas. It seems to want to
    hold back and die alittle. Give it wellie and its off no problem. New
    filters all round and oil. Nothing on the engine management side of
    things. Any ideas Thanks Ian
