406 hdi water damage?????????????????

    drove thro a deep ford, engine cut out, will not turn over, ive got all the
    ignition lights but wont turn over, any ideas,? The water level was well
    above the air intake behind the fog light.please help.

    hmmmm, if water was sucked up into the engine you could have done all
    sorts - hydraulic lock can do some nasty stuff, but its more likely than no
    that you screwed a few sensors, just hope you havent seized the pistons in
    the bore by warping it pouring cold water in.
