I was thinking of buying the electronic digital climate control unit
for my mk2 but wanted to know if it would fit in place of the manual
rotary dials. I think the rotary dial to make air come out of the
vents/windscreen etc is a cable control but wanted to ask people here.
Can I fit the climate control just by taking out the manual section on
the dashboard and replacing it with the climate control?

i dont think the connections are there
also the other version has motors on the flaps so you may have to install
the heater box and dash harness

  3. The motor on the recirculation flap is also different for the climate
    control version.
