    I have an R reg 406 with a cassette/radio, is it possible to fit a CD/Radio
so that the stalk can still be used?

    Cheers...

  2. Mike you are right !

The upper Sony units are stalk control compatible (When using an adaptor)
its best to purchase the Autoleads adapter as this will be cheaper then the
    sony adapter.

You will also need a replacement facia for fitting the stereo in the dash
board, or at least you do in a pre 97 406.....

Facia is between £9.99 and £14.99
Adapter lead is between £19.99 and £29.99 approx

  3. Yes it is possible, you will need to buy a Sony unit as they have interface
leads available that allow the use of your standard stalk controls....

As well as the Sony unit you will need to buy a new facia panel which is
between £9.99 and £19.99 depending on where you buy it from.
