407sw 2.2 died 2007.

    Hi everyone, just bought a used 407sw 2.2 diesel, 10 miles away it cut out and won't start, recovery had a look and it points to high pressure fuel pump, he said its a common fault on this engine, can the part be fixed diy or would it be a new one? Just scrapped my faithful 407sw 2ltr hdi no such problems.
