    hello,

I got '82 604 TD in relatively very good condition, but with bad injectors.
Somebody told me , some turbo-diesel Mercedeses from end of 70' used the same
injectors. I have asked Mercedes mechanics, but nobody
could tell me anything. I found somewere this car has been built in
cooperation with Volvo, and many parts
are exchangable ( fact is, car is loaded with Bosh parts ). Was asking Volvo
mechanic - the same result. Can anybody help? I would like to bring
    that baby to life.

    thanks,
    adam

    Hi,
Nope, AFAIK only the V6 engine was co-engineered with Volvo and Renault
    (hence the V6 name, PRV).
If the car has a Bosch pump, it has Bosch injectors (sure it's not a
Roto-Diesel DPA, like on many (all) XD engines ?). You just have to ask a
Diesel specialist to look after them and fix them, if needed (may be costy,
    though).
The TD engine was the same than the one fit to 505TD, if of any help.

Is that the 2.5 engine as fitted to the 505? If so, then it was also fitted
    to Ford Granadas.
Don't bother looking for injectors from other engines, if the pump is Bosch,
then the injectors will also be the same. They will not mix with the
CAV/Lucas ones as the opening pressure is different.
Any good diesel injection specialist will be able to either regrind the
nozzles, or fit new replacement nozzles to the injectors. These are the only
    parts which wear normally.
As you don't mention what part of the world you are in, it is not possible
    to suggest any particular specialist.
