Hello I'm new to this forum and I have a problem with the handbrake. It has failed the MOT and I need to take the hubs apart. It's a diesel 2.5 T 1993 or 4 I have no workshop manual so I need to know what kind of brake is on in the disk hub. Is it one of those with shoes behind the disk or inside the disk ?? Or is it some other method of applying pressure to the disk.?? I will need to dismantle it but it would be good if I knew what to expect and I could order all the bits beforehand as I'm in a rural area. Any advice is most welcome George
