98 406 estate.

My remote central locking has stopped working

I have checked the fuse, the central locking works if you use the key, but
not the blipper.

I have checked the batteries, they seem ok, but I will renew them anyway.
Is there a common place these things give up???

Switch on ignition and press button on key whilst in ignition. keep pressed
for about 10 seconds.

This sometimes resets the key.


you insert key into ignition and turn on and press"Nik&Andy"
