We have a P8C (PSA) diesel engine in our 406 which has an annoying
rattle associated with the alternator tensioner shock absorber mount
where it attaches to the block of the engine. It's really awkward to
get at and I wondered if other readers out there have found inventive
ways to correct the problem and how to gain access to the mounting??
My friend has fixed one and cursed like crazy but I'm not convinced a
new part will be the end of my problems. Any suggestions welcomed.
