Are the tyres to big?

    I bought four part worn tyres (with good tread) for my Peugeot 205. I
    noticed that they are 165x80x13 instead of 165x70x13, and there is not a lot
    of space between the top of the back tyres and the back arch, (less than an
    inch) are the tyres too big? I was thinking that if I have the car fully
    loaded the back arch would press on the tyre is this right?

    Yes they are too big, the tyres you have bought are 80% of full height,
    your car needs tyres that are 70% of full height....
