Bonnet not closing fully

    My son has just purchased a 306 HDI 2ltr estate X reg.

    It seems that the bonnet is only closing on the safety latch and not closing fully.

    Is there a known problem / fault that it could be?

    I have only been able to look at the car in darkness so have not seen anything obviously wrong.
