Car will not lock

    My car has been repaired after a rear-end shunt - the tailgate needed replacing. Now I have a fault locking the vehicle - message on the dash says 'boot not closed'. However, it is but bot locked which in turn means the whole car is not locking. Anyone any idea what this is all about ??
