    Hi
Just bought a 406 hid 90 on a 02 plate as a cheap run around . The key fob is damaged with the unlock and lock buttons missing and the circuit board has the unlock piece missing. When I bought the car it was unlocked but when I locked it with the key everything locked ok. On coming to unlock with the key only the drivers door unlocks. Is there anything I can do to override the alarm and get the central locking working by key only as I don't want to spend a fortune as the car is not worth it.
    Thanks for your help.

Dont think its a good idea messing around with the alarm.
But you can find repair-kits for the fob on e-bay, just search for "Peugeot 406 fob" tons of them and the dont cost many quid.
