Hi, My sister has a 52 plate 106 quicksilver & the clutch pedal went to the floor & made a nasty noise, i removed the gearbox to find the thrust bearing had disintegrated..! Replaced with a new clutch kit & fitted the gearbox back, when i connected the clutch cable to the clutch lever i found out the clutch pedal is sprung loaded in the down position..? This then pulls the clutch lever onto the pressure plate..? Is this correct as i have not had a Peugeot.
