Goodbye

  1. Having endured a 51 reg 307 1.6 Rapier for four and a half years, I just
    replaced it on Friday with a Mazda 3 1.6 TS2 Hatchback. The 307 wasn't a
patch on the 306 that I had before or the 406 Hdi estate that my wife
had until last year. I think that Peugeot have lost the plot.

Anyway, a big thank you to everybody on this group who has provided me
    with advice over the years.

    Best wishes,

    Raymond

Keep hearing the same thing, again and again about the 307, which I
    agree with.

    Glad you enjoyed a 306!

  3. The 309 was better than both of them.

Mmm mine leaked like a sieve through the back hatch..
great in dry weather though ;-)

    Bye Ray.

Never driven a 309, so can't personally comment on its finer points.

    From a purely aesthetic-perpective, the Pininfarina-sculptured 306 is
*way* better looking than either of the other two.

The 309 was a dowdy-looking car, IMHO. As for the 307? Awful boxy
sub-MPV styling, springs to mind. The 307-estate is a marginal
    improvement over the hatch.

I see your 309 and I raise you the Talbot Horizon. :p
