hazard lights come on when i open door, electrical issues

    Hi, just got a lovely low mileage 306 1.8s cab, couple of electrical issues. 1st Hazard lights come on for 20 secs when i open the door, i don't think there is an alarm on the car. 2. the clock led just flashes madly with lots of lines and shapes. 3. the battery power gauge doesn't move at all. other than that all good. its only done 43k miles.

    any coments advice welcomes

    ok, read back through the forum post and got a good idea for the flashing lights, if anyone has anything on points 2 and 3 that would be great
