Hello. New to the site so go steady. I have a 406 hdi y reg. Apart from needing a service the car runs lovely. then i go a water leak. It was leaking at the point where the metal heater matrix pipe comes into the engine bay and joins a rubber pipe with a air bleed point. I have so far changed the rubber pipe with no success.

Have found a useful you tube video on how to get to the heater matrix without taking the whole dash out.

    So my question is.

Is it likely the metal pipe is a fault?
Once i have access to the heater matrix in the car, is it easy to remove the metal pipe and replace.

    Thanks

    Dave
