    Model: 205 1.4GR
    Year: 1992
    Engine Type: TU3.2
    Engine Code: 20AK22
    Peugeot Part No: 170425

I'm having great difficulty finding the front exhaust pipe for my 205
(details above) and would be very grateful if anyone could help.

As you can see, my engine is the unusual TU3.2 not the TU3S that
everybody's used to seeing. I know this is a genuine code because a) its
in the owners manual and b) it appears in several parts catalogues where
it shows the pipe for other TU engines and states "not TU3.2" (see also on
    bodyshopwarehouse.co.uk)

I've tried German Swedish and French - the pipe has a bracket on it to
fasten to the gearbox and the one GFS supplied did not reach i.e. not
    enough depth on the bracket.

I've also tried CES Exhausts who are quite big up here in the North-West.
They said that they could find the Peugeot part no's before and after
170425 on their computer, but not that particular no.

    Can anyone help?

Let me know if you need more info.

Down pipes seem to be a problem on the TU3 engine - there seem to be many
different variants. I've had at least 2 designs on my XS, all very slightly
different meaning it doesnt seal properly. I did some asking around and
Peugeot were the only place that would guarentee the right pattern. IIRC
they wanted £90 for it. In the end i went at it with a big hammer, then big
bolts and plenty of exhuast putty and managed to get it to seal ok.

very odd. Maybe you are stuck with pug only? I'm stuck with toyota only or
    stainless for my car.
