immobilser

    Hello,

    I am currently looking at some insurance details. I have a 51 plate 206LX.
    Do all of these have an immobiliser? and if so is it called a 'Peugeot
    Transponder Immobiliser' ?

    FYI, none of the pug alarms which are fitted as standard are cat rated
    and as such dont reap any sort of "benefit". I asked about insurance
    discounts for alarms and stuff and was told that as long as it had one
    on then they dont care.

    I dont know if peugeot have made the alarms and immobilisers any
    "better" than what they were cos they are shockingly bad from my
    experience with my 306.
