You should be able to decode the VIN number to get the factory where the
car was assembled. Sorry I don't have a source for the info tho'

    Hi,
According to Iran Khodso (spelling ?), they locally build (i.e with local
parts) up to 80% of a car. I don't know if it's true with the 206, but what
I'm sure about is the iranian-built 206 are locally built, i.e not directly
made by Peugeot - these are CKD parts, this means Completely Knocked Down,
so sold as kits which CKD makers have to assemble and / or complete with
    local parts.
A look at http://www.ikco.com/products/206.aspx shows the engines are said
to run with 91RON unleaded petrol... wich is a bit low compared to std
european petrol (where standard became 95RON unleaded).

    Regards,
