They're rubbish and just a marketing ploy. You'd be better off with a 50%
brighter bulb which is white. If you think about it any bulb coating is
going to absorb light so there is less to see with. Plus quite a few people
(myself included) find blue light much more difficult to focus upon.

Thanks for replying.i try and get a set.it was because i was driving
back from Bognor Regis and it is roads without lights and i need good
headlamps.so you think a brighter bulb will do the trick?
    thanks again from chris..

  4. Don't forget the obvious issue of keeping the headlamp glass clean. The
headlamp glass on my wife's car was caked in salt from the road. A quick
wash with some warm water made a vast improvement to the brightness.

If you can get the Phillips, or other 50% brighter bulbs, they are
    definitely the way to go.
    Brian, also in Addlestone.

I would recommend the ring ultra xenon or philips vision plus if you
are looking at H4 bulbs - try eBay they are about £15 a pair. The
philips bulbs get a better review but I think the ring are at least as
good (106 - with vision plus, 206 - with ultra xenon)
