Wir errichten überlegene Automobile. Im Krieg nahm Deutschland Frankreich
ohne einen Kampf. Jetzt schlägt Mercedes Peugeot und Renault. Franzosen sind
    zweites Kategorie!!!!!!

  3. easy oar christopher thats fighting talk! perhaps hans can explain if german
cars are so good then why the electric windows on my wifes vw have gone
kaputt ... for the third time in as many years. and if the french take
second place, then who is in pole position? Japan according to any serious
custumer satisfaction survey i ever read. and i dont think mentioning the
war helps his case but with a name like hans he has to be taking the bung.
    oh BTW am a v contented 306 owner ....

    as i am german:
after driving a vw t3 camping bus and my wife a mercedes a-klasse for five
years we finally switched to peugeot camping bus and a renault clio for one
good and solid reason: they are just much better cars for the price and we
    are glad to have them!
german cars meanwhile swichted to third-class cars...

    bye

Any reason why the old cars that still drive around in much African
countries are Peugeots? 404's for that matter?
(let's not say it's because they drive in former French colonies shall we?)

poured oil in, actually the water level did not get that high up front but
it was one of my first concerns ... I have not done that much on the site or
the car as baby number three is here (10 months ...) hoping to get the rear
axle off this weekend and seriously get back to the stripping ...

When you get to the gearbox and especially the gear-stick, can you do me a
favour and take lots of pictures? I need to work on it too and I'm a little
apprehensive. Don't know how it all connects.

Very obvious, that the majority of cars that are Sold in europe are
French cars, and at the first place is of course Peugeot.
Here in the Netherlands the 206, 206CC, 307 and the C3, C5 are
that popular that I have to wait 12 weeks for my new 406 Break HDI.

Who is selling less car every month? Yes it is VW, Opel :)

Best regards to all PSA Drivers,

a very satisfied 306 Break Driver

    Yes. I have the same.
Do you have a C3 gearbox or BA7? Mine is C3.

    C3:
    R 2 4
    | | |
    +--+--+
    | |
    1 3

    BA7:
    1 3
    | |
    +--+--+
    | | |
    2 4 R

I have some documentation about the floormounted gearstick for the BA7 so
I don't know how useful it is to me. And apart from that it's in
    Argentinian.

Mine is also a C3 (unfortunately ... my wife found it stiff, the BA7 is
supposed to be easier) Is the BA7 floormount also by Nardi ? That would be
    Spanish :)

I'll take those pictures .... not quite yet, today was an IKEA Saturday
    aaargh!!!

    Anybody else with a 404 ?

    Hello,
Nope, but I wish I had something similar (304, 404 or 504) if I had the
    money for.

There is not brand name on the documentation, but it's original Peugeot
stuff. I'll scan put it on my website.
