    Help

my 306 gti6 on a hot day when its sitting outside under the sun will
not start up for the the first time. It takes me 8 goes before the
engine starts up. It will start up fine when it is in the shade,
cooled area, at night but just not when its sitting in direct
sunlight, can anyone shed any light on this please

    Regards

    Hi TinTin (Strange Name)
Interesting; I had this problem recently with my 406 SV. It happened
twice within about 15 minutes and has not happened again since. The
car had been sitting out in the sun on a very hot day all morning.

I believe the problem was actually mine! I had ignored the owners
handbook and had been depressing the accelerator whilst turning over
    the motor.

Hope this is the simple answer to your prob. (Last few days in New
Zealand you should not have had this problem (perhaps water in the car
according to pictures of floods in NZ)
