I got this car in pretty lousy condition, but being an experienced DIYer, I
would like to get it in shape.

The problem is that there are a few disconnected air hoses, and a few
disconnected wires under the hood, and even more troubling is the fact that
it is neither injection nor a standard carburettor engine, rather it has a
Solex 34 TBIA carb, and katalysator, and some sort of primitive ECU that is
supposed to do... something. Apart from float chamber breather solenoid,
there are 2 more non-functional solenoids, which need replacing, but I don't
know what are they supposed to do, and what to connect them to. They act as
valves for some of fuel lines in the carburettor.

I don't know what to connect to distributor vacuum advance unit (there are 2
places on the carb body that I coud do it, one has high vacuum during idle,
the other one doesn't seem to have any vacuum while engine is idling)

There was a sort of an "electric turbo unit" under the hood, which I think
was supposed to be blowing air into air filter, but, I have never seen
anything like it... It runs on 12V, blows air quite strongly, but nothing
special. Will it help or obstruct air flow if i connect it to intake air
    filter?

I would appreciate any info on this engine/carb, haynes manual for p309 or
p405 doesn't cover this engine/carb configuration. Engine code is BAZ, which
I found to be supposedly same as BAY (XU5CP), it was also built into citroen
    bx 1.6.

Thank you for any help you can provide.

    Hi,
The only information I have is there are 3 types of Solex carbs : TBIA-410
for 91RON & manual gearbox, TBIA-450 for 95RON and manual, and TBIA-432 for
    91RON & automatic gearbox.
It seems to come with some electronics, but I don't know what it does.

thanks, the information on these carbs is as scarce as it gets... I found
only one blurred solex 32tbia picture, and that's it. It seems to have been
built in some alpine tuned renault cars, but they are not very popular
either. There is some sort of primitive ECU labeled "solex HMMB", but no
google hits on that word, either.

    thanks for replying.
    greetings,
    Vedran.
