Peugeot 306 diesel immobiliser problems - again!

The battery on my 306 has gone completely flat having not used it for
over a month. Having charged the battery, the alarm/immobiliser has
suddenly started working (it never has before).
I don't have the original key with a ir remote, only a copy.

I have read numerous messages on here regarding getting round this but
have only got half way...

I have bypassed the starter motor immobiliser solonoid in the engine
bay so the car now turns over with the key but it still will not
start. I suspect that the fuel pump is also immobilised.

Does anyone know how to bypass the immobiliser for the fuel pump or at
least know where the fuel pump wiring is?

I have already tried:
-Disconnecting and reconnecting plugs from box under rear seat
-Disconnecting all three plugs from under drivers seet and shorting
the two wires on the red connector
-Pressing and holding the ultrasonic button on the steering column in
many different sequences

Any help would be greatly appreciated?

If this is as old a 306 as I think (ref. ultrasonic button below)
then it is more likely that the stop solenoid and pre-heat is involved
in some way. The pump is just a mechanical device driven from the
engine as it turns over.

My old N reg 306 diesel had an alarm turned off by the IR key. One day
the interface died and I had to get a tow home. Later that week I
found somewhere a post that said if you insert the key, turn on then
press the (c- button within ten seconds it will turn off the alarm. It
never needed pressing again as long as I physically opened the doors
with the key in the lock. The alarm siren would go off each time I
disconnected the battery.

 

It would help if we knew the age of the vehicle, as the type of immobiliser
changed over the years.
However, it sounds as if it is one of the older models, like my '93 XRDT.
This has a key switch for the alarm under the bonnet just behind or above
the LH headlight.
As I have never had the key for this, it is a little academic.
However, I have had the problem when disconnecting the battery that the
immoboliser is activated. This would normally be de-activated by locking and
unlocking the car with the remote. But as this is not working either, you
have to revert to method three.
In my case, this works. You have unlock the car with the key as normal, then
switch the ignition switch on whilst depressing the alarm button mounted on
the side of the steering column. Note that this has to be done within ten
seconds of opening the door.
You should be able to get the car to learn a new IR plip too if you can get
one.
