peugeot 406 1.8 lx 2000(w) brake fluid warning

    please help!!why do i keep gettin a warning saying brake fluid low when i put
    the hand brake on.. it only says this when hand brake is on and engine
    running.... p.s brake fluid level is normal..thanks richard

    It's a stock fault, high resistance on the handbrake switch. Replace it or
    do as I did and flush it out with switch cleaner.

    Spray wd40 down at the switch. you got dust down there.

    follow the hand brake arm and u will find it near it .at rear of the
    arm or i could have a side bracket which it could be there,
    good hunting,from chris Addlestone Surrey
