Peugeot remote key range problem fix

    I had a problem with the range of my remote key on my peugeot 307 key 2005 to 2008 models the key would only work inside the car but not outside the car.so after a long hard look I discovered that a good fix for this is to change the cr16 20 battery to 2x cr1616 this solved the problem and the range of the remote has increased hope this helps others as I was lead to believe by peugeot that I needed a new comms unit but not in this case
