The radio in my pug is playing up it refuses to respond to any buttons which
    I am pressing.
So I am beginning to think as replacement is due.
I am told that as I have the radio control on the steering column I can
    only fit a Sony radio.
Can anyone advise which model I need, I would like the radio/CD player.
    Many Thanks

  2. I had this problem.

It's caused by a broken connection on the back of the PCB that is directly
behind the buttons on the black plastic front.

There are two connectors - one six way and one eight way - that need to be
reattached. Simple to do if you have access to a soldering iron.

Simply pull the radio out of the facia, disconnect the power connector,
unscrew the black plastic front (two gold screws on each side) and re-solder
    the connectors.

    Dave.
