    Hello people...

I wonder if any body knows how to fix this problem, and how much money/time
    it is likely to be.

This morning I noticed a puddle of gearbox oil on the driveway, on closer
inspection it was leaking from the gearbox where the nearside driveshaft is
    'connected'.

What seals are on this joint? and how do you replace them?

    Many thanks
    Adrian

i had the same problem on my missus 306 spinnaker. it was the n/s inner
drive shaft oil seal on the gearbox end.its quite easy to do split the
bottom ball joint if you get somebody to pull from the bottom you can just
get the driveshaft out pull out the old seal then tap in the new then
refit. dont forget to drain oil first.

seals only available from peugeot dealer £6.50.

    hope this helps

Check which side is leaking. The offside driveshaft is a little more
difficult because there is an intermediate bearing on it which hes to be
released. It is all well covered in the Haines book if you can get hold of
    one.
