Pug 406 HDi 2001 - Indicator Gremlin

    This weekend the indicators have started to develop a mind of their own.
    When you engage the indicator to make a turn and complete the manouevre
    the stalk returns to rest but the indicator keeps flashing. A little nudge
    in the opposite direction and it stops but re-occurs on the next
    manouevre.

    I've heard that Pugs are renowned for these wonderful little electric
    gremlins, just wondering if anyone else has had/solved this problem and
    how? Is it a fuse, a new stalk, dodgy connection etc?

    About two weeks ahead of you with same problem on Y reg/ 2001/ 2 litre
    90bhp Hdi Rapier Estate- bloody dangerous and after only 45,000 miles.
    Common switchgear problem on 406, best answer was visit local Citroen/
    Peugeot specialist in Coventry. Fixed in 30minutes with costs of :
    (a) One Switch - new £40.00
    (b) Labour £20.00
    Total £60.00 plus VAT.
