Squealing coming from front wheels

    Getting a squealing noise from the front (left I think) wheel when I get
    over 30mph and when turning left at about 20mph +. Noise disappears
    completely when the wheels turn to the right.

    Any ideas will be gratefully received. The car is a Citroen Saxo 1.4
    Exclusive (not a Pug I know! but close enough!)

    could also be something simple like a stone or some muck stuck in the brakes
