My 406 cam with michelins and I have always replaced them with the
same. But they cost the earth in this part of the world. Any problems
with substituting similar radials - assuming both left and right are
    replaced at once?

I can't imagine why there would be a problem. You can get some shite
cheap tyres but if you get something halfway decent then no problem.

  3. There will be no problem as long as they are the same size, other makes will
not do the same miles though!

    Hi,
Mmmmm, about the mileage yeah, why not, but the handling may be worst, too,
    esp. on wet weather.
I've been driving with several tyres on a 405, and the only advice I could
give is "drive with reputable brands". Could post the detail of my feelings
    if you need them.
